General Physics
General Physics is a sixteen-week blended e-learning course that combines online and face-to-face instruction.
The Course General Physics is a sixteen-week blended e-learning course that combines online and face-to-face instruction, designed to introduce students to the basic principles and laws that govern the physical world. It emphasizes conceptual understanding, quantitative problem-solving, and real-life applications of physics in everyday and professional contexts. The course covers core topics such as physical quantities and units, kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, laws of motion, properties of matter, and fundamentals of thermodynamics. The integration of theoretical explanations with hands-on activities, and numerical problem-solving will help learners develop both practical skills and scientific reasoning. This course is particularly tailored for undergraduate students in fields such as engineering, natural sciences, health sciences, and computer science. This space also serves as a resource hub to support your face-to-face coursework, a centralized location where you can access study materials, reference documents, and digitally enabled content. While the course includes quizzes for practice and feedback (not counted toward your final grade), a graded Open-Response Assessment is included at the end of each Chapter, which contributes to your overall course performance. Please note, this course does not offer a certificate, and your achievements will be assessed solely through in-person coursework and designated graded components.
