This course is an introduction to techniques and tools of managing the design and construction of large, and small, construction projects.

This course provides an introduction to the core principles of architectural project management. Students will explore fundamental management concepts, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling, specifically within the context of construction and organizational management. Key topics include construction planning and scheduling techniques, such as CPM and PERT, along with comprehensive coverage of procurement methods, contract planning, bid preparation and evaluation, and various types of construction contracts.
