This course enables students to understand concepts and the application of research methodology as a scientific method for knowledge acquisition.

Enrollment in this course is by invitation only

About This Course

This course enables students to understand concepts and application of research. It attempts to define what research is, why we do research, and the various methods researchers use to solve  research problems. It is designed as an undergraduate course to introduce students to research methodology concepts and principles. Students are assumed to be familiar with statistics (such as mean, standard deviation, percentiles, and other such terms). The course provides a framework for conceptualizing research and apply research methodology practices for solving information system problems. Students are also expected to develop their skills through class exercises and project works to be research practitioners.

Requirements

students are expected to have completed an introduction to statistics course.
