This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to plan, design, and manage community water supply systems. It covers population forecasting, water demand analysis, source development (surface and groundwater), water quality and treatment processes, and distribution system design. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, efficiency, and applicability in the Ethiopian context, preparing students to address real-world challenges in water supply within construction and infrastructure projects.
